GAME TIME LIMITS
13U–14U
Pool Play: 1 hour 30 minutes (No new inning after 1 hour 25 minutes)
Bracket Play: 1 hour 30 minutes
11U–12U
Pool Play: 1 hour 15 minutes (No new inning after 1 hour 10 minutes)
Bracket Play: 1 hour 30 minutes
6U–10U
Pool Play: 1 hour (No new inning after 55 minutes)
Bracket Play: 1 hour 15 minutes
Pool games may end in a tie.
There is no drop-dead rule. Once an inning begins, it must be completed.
Tournament directors reserve the right to adjust game times due to weather
Pitching Limitations
12 & Under
Maximum of 24 recorded outs per weekend.
Pitchers recording more than 6 outs on Saturday are ineligible to pitch on Sunday.
13U & 14U
Maximum of 27 recorded outs per weekend.
Pitchers recording more than 6 outs on Saturday are ineligible to pitch on Sunday.
Managers are responsible for tracking pitching outs. Violations may result in forfeiture.
Run Rules
Games shall be considered complete when either team leads by:
15 runs after 3 innings
10 runs after 4 innings
8 runs after 5 innings
Inning Run Limits
6U–14U Recreational Divisions: Maximum of 7 runs per half inning.
Open Rec/Select 13U–14U Divisions: No per-inning run limit.
Bracket Seeding Tiebreakers
Tournament seeding will be determined in the following order:
Overall Record
Head-to-Head
Result Fewest Runs Allowed
Most Runs Scored
Coin Toss
Age Divisions & Player Eligibility
Players may participate up to two age divisions above their eligible age group.
Players may never play below their age division.
Proof of age must be available upon request and may include:
Birth Certificate
Government-Issued Identification
Current School Report Card
Roster freezes occur prior to each event.
Use of an ineligible player will result in:
Game forfeiture
Coach ejection from the event
Rosters & Team Classification
Dual rostering within the same tournament is prohibited.
All players must appear on the official event roster before competition begins.
Ejections & Sportsmanship
The following actions may result in immediate ejection:
Unsportsmanlike conduct
Fighting
Verbal abuse of players, coaches, umpires, or spectators
False identification
Illegal equipment violations
Ejection Penalties
Remainder of the current game
Suspension for the next scheduled game
A coach receiving a second ejection during the same event will be disqualified from the remainder of the tournament.
Batting Order & Lineup
Teams may utilize any of the following lineup options:
Straight 9
9 + Designated Hitter (DH)
10 + Extra Hitter (EH)
Entire Roster Batting
Additional Rules:
Minimum of 8 players required to start a game.
An ejected player results in an automatic out when their lineup position occurs.
Courtesy runner shall be the last recorded out or a legal substitute.
Slash Bunting
Prohibited in 6U–13U divisions.
Permitted in 14U divisions played on 60/90 fields

Approved bats must bear one of the following certifications:
USSSA
1.15 BPF
USA Baseball
BBCOR
Prohibited Equipment
Black Emerald bats
Altered bats of any kind
Use of an altered bat will result in a lifetime suspension from Texas Premier Baseball events.
Footwear
Metal cleats are permitted only in 13U and older divisions.
No Metal Cleats on Turf Mounds
6U - 8U Coach Pitch Rules
Field Specifications
Pitching Distance: 40 feet
Base Paths: 60 feet
Games shall consist of:
Six innings, or
1 hour 15 minute time limit
Offensive Rules
Entire roster bats.
No bunting.
No stealing.
No intentional walks.
Players must take a full swing.
Each batter receives a maximum of six pitches.
Defensive Rules
Teams may field up to 10 defensive players.
Coach Pitch Requirements
The pitching coach:
Must have at least one foot inside the pitching circle.
May not provide verbal or physical coaching to batters or runners while the ball is live.
Must immediately move into foul territory once the ball is put into play without interfering with play.
Base Running
There are no:
Lead-offs
Steals
Delayed steals
A runner leaving early shall be declared out immediately. No appeal is required.
Dead Ball / Time Calls
Umpires will call time when:
The lead runner has stopped advancing, or
All runners have ceased attempting to advance.
Any runner more than halfway to the next base when time is called shall be awarded that base.
Any runner less than halfway shall return to the previous base.
When multiple runners are involved, the lead runner's position determines awards.
Overthrow Rule
On an overthrow:
Runners may attempt to advance one additional base.
The defense may still attempt to record an out.
A second overthrow immediately results in a dead ball and a one-base award.
The batter-runner may not score from an overthrow and must stop at third base.
Base awards may force preceding runners to advance as necessary
